We have specific models for beginners: Tempo, Wave, Motivo and Overture. Check with your dealerwhich model is best for your needs. If you plan to take lessons, the coach will also be able to advise. The choice of blade is personal but some of the most common blade and boots combination we see for beginners are: Tempo set Balancé, Wave set Rotation, Motivo set Rotation, Overture set Charme
If you're still learning double jumps, e.g. you land 2T, 2S but still struggling with all others, the Chorus model is still for you.
If you already have all solid double jumps, learning 2A, you can upgrade to Ice Fly. Do not be fooled by its comfort, the padding hides a support structure suitable only for that level.
NOTE: This is a general guideline and other factors such as weight, height and skating style should be considered. Always ask your coach before changing models!
