WHISTLEBLOWING
Legislative Decree 24/2023 – pursuant to EU Directive 1937/2019 – introduces into the Italian legal system an organic and unified regulation on “whistleblowing”, which is the legal mechanism through which an employee (broadly speaking) can report unlawful actions which he/she has become aware of within the work context.
Edea S.r.l., in compliance with the law and the Anac Guidelines, has adopted the Whistleblowing Reporting System, which provides for internal reporting channels to allow whistleblowers to submit both written and oral (including anonymous) reports.
The management of the internal whistleblowing channel is entrusted to an external operator.
The Company has established a procedure that defines the scope of the whistleblowing system (who can report and what can be reported) and the process for collecting and managing reports.
